Fibroadenoma is a breast disorder that is non-cancerous lump or bump commonly affecting young women.

What are the symptoms?

Women with fibroadenoma complain of a painless breast lump or bump that is often described as soft, smooth or rubbery with a well-defined border.

What to expect?

If you have been diagnosed with fibroadenoma:

  • Do examine your breasts regularly for any lumps or bumps and contact your GP if you notice a change.
